Netflix

In honour of the new Netflix movie ‘Don’t Look Up’ Netflix asked us to create a custom pair of New Balance 550s using a 4.5 billion year old meteorite.

34 fragments of the Pallasite Meteorite were cut with precision to create these one of a kind custom New Balance 550s.

Google x ellesse

We worked with Google to create 130 pairs of customs for a campaign promoting their new Google Image Search function. 

We created a canvas, using various different mediums of paint techniques to create different textures. This was then shot and edited and printed onto material. We then completed the cut and sew customs, adding hand painted assets to each pair! 

The customised trainers were then put on posters and billboards across the UK that you could take a picture of using the Google Lens app to be able to get a pair!

Stella McCartney

We collaborated with Stella McCartney on a collection for London Fashion Week in 2018. We customised two Men’s and two Women’s Eclipse silhouettes. The pairs were showcased at Stella McCartney’s flag ship store in London, for the launch of #StellaSneakerWeek. After the success of the London Fashion Week collection, we were also asked to create a collection to be sold in the Dubai flag ship store.  

Channel 4 - Custom Kicks

We worked with Channel 4 to create a mini series ‘Custom Kicks’ which was made available to watch on E4’s YouTube channel. Across 6 episodes, Matt, Kelvin and Lola took on various projects, some new and some old, revamping various different silhouettes with new designs!

Sony Entertainment - Bullet Train

We created a custom for the release of the new Sony movie Bullet Train!

We were asked to create the design based on a character in the film. We chose the character ‘The Wolf’ played by Bad Bunny, and created a piece of content documenting the process as part of their PR roll out.

Toblerone

We created 100 custom card holders which were sold on the Toblerone website to celebrate the launch of their new Golden Bar.

The design incorporated neutral tones with paint splats of bolder colours. They were being sold individually or as a pair. As they were limited edition, we also numbered each one.

Stefflon Don

We were asked to create a pair of sneakers to go with a 1 of 1 custom outfit designed for Stefflon don to be worn in her music video, 'Dip' featuring Ms Banks!

Nike x JD

We worked with JD Sports and Nike on their Air Max Day 2020 campaign. We created a short piece of video content that was focused around the iconic Air Max 90 and the journey of MBC.

We custom designed a pair of Air Max for the winner of the sneaker rush - Amelia Dimz! We then took part in a giveaway giving another pair of custom to a winner.

JD Pancake Day

We teamed up with JD to create some pancake topping inspired customs for a JD Pancake day giveaway. This was accompanied with a short piece of video content surrounding the creation of the sneakers!

JD Valentines Day

We were approached by JD asking us to create them a custom pair of Valentine’s day kicks! We dropped a brand new design using handmade 3D hearts to create a one of a kind pair for their giveaway!

size? Day 2022

MBC took part in a charity event at the Manchester Youth Zone back in January 2022, doing a custom kicks workshop for #sizeday! The event was hosted by size? where we taught the next generation how to make their own customs. Size? supplied everyone with a free pair of brand new kicks and the team showed them how to paint them!

JD Christmas TikTok Campaign

JD asked us to take part in their TikTok Christmas campaign, the brief was for creators to film content demonstrating their skills but using the campaign colours and assets.

Converse x JD

We teamed up with JD and Converse on the #CreateAtHome campaign. We customised a pair of the Converse Pro Leather's, to show how we've been working from home during lockdown. Take a look at the content that was created for the JD x Converse campaign below.

Ego

Ego reached out to us asking us to create some customs for a collaborative giveaway to celebrate the launch of their new ‘Elevated Basics’ gym clothing range. We created a custom to be used for the shoot, matching in with their new range. Once a winner was selected, we worked with them to create a 1 of 1 design, creating a completely unique custom!

Puma x NHS

We teamed up with PUMA on their #StrongerTogether NHS campaign. The idea was for artists to nominate each other to customise a pair of PUMA Rider's and give them to a key worker in the NHS. 

Superdry

We were asked to work on a campaign with Superdry to promote the launch of their new vegan trainers! The team developed a design and once signed off, completed the custom which was then used to create a TikTok for their channel. 

JD Christmas Giveaway

Working with JD, we took part in an advent calendar style giveaway, giving away a pair of MBCs to a winner!
