How Much Do Custom Sneakers Cost?
There's no single price for a custom pair - cost depends on the base shoe, the technique, and how much work goes into the design. Here's what actually moves the number, based on real orders across our site.
The base shoe
Every custom starts with an authentic pair sourced in first — we're a made-to-order studio, so we bring the base shoe in once your order is placed rather than holding shelves of stock. A Nike Air Force 1 base costs less to bring in than an Air Max or a TN, and that difference carries through to the final price. We can source any base shoe for you — or if you already own the pair you want customised, you're welcome to supply it yourself, as long as it's brand new (we don't work on used shoes).
The technique
We work with a range of mediums to create your perfect custom, and often there's more than one way to achieve the same result — which is where budget comes in. Hand-painting, for instance, can be a quick solid colour or line illustration, right up to a detailed portrait with serious amounts of fine detail. If you're on a budget but have a clear idea, we can often recreate the same concept using vinyl instead, which is faster and cheaper to produce while staying durable and true to your design.
Beyond hand-painting and vinyl, we also offer dip dye, cut & sew (rebuilding panels in a new material), engraving, and studs & rivets. Personalisation is one of the simplest ways to make something unique to you, and starts from just £15 for a name or initials added to your sneakers or accessory. Across our live catalogue, made-to-order custom sneakers typically range from around £160 up to £320+, depending on base shoe and technique.
Size and complexity
A full-coverage freestyle design, multiple materials, or a highly detailed reference image takes longer to execute than a single-panel colour change — and that's reflected in price. If you're not sure what something would cost, our online customiser gives you a live price as you build the design, or you can use our mock-up service for anything more bespoke.
Don't know exactly what you want yet?
Our mock-up service is built for that. Pay a small non-refundable design deposit, send us references, images or even just a rough idea, and our team builds it into a proper design with up to two rounds of revisions before you commit. If you go ahead with the order, the deposit comes straight off your final total.
Rush orders

Accessories and smaller customs
